• GO BO FUND: An offshoot of the Family Relief Fund at Georgetown Hospital (pediatric oncology) was started when Bo Johns was diagnosed with large B Cell Lymphoma at age 11 (he’s a healthy rising Senior at Lehigh University). The Georgetown community rallies annually for this cause.

  • Every September, the Johns family and friends host a theme party to keep the Go Bo Fund endowed...past themes include: Green Acres, Gilligan's Island, The Preppy Handbook/Animal House, Beach Blanket Bingo/Under the Boardwalk, Redneck Barbeque, New Jersey, and Keep Calm and Party On.

  • At each annual Go Bo event SCOUT provides themed giveaways as well as decorative elements like FoFlor mats and Trash Caches.

  • At the British Invasion, even Kate Middleton made a royal appearance.

  • Guests at the 2010 Jersey Go Bo Party were decked out in attire ranging from sports jerseys to biker gear to Jersey Shore finery.

  • 300-400 people annually support the cause under the tent, around the pool and on the dance floor.

  • Even the complete cast from Jersey Shore made an appearance...in the form of a FoFlor mat!

  • The young helpers at the Beach Blanket Bingo Party took a quick dip to celebrate another fun event.

  • Our Twall Y'all pattern decorated Shouldah Bins and Junque Trunks to hold towels poolside.

  • SCOUT helped to provide school bags for school children in Uganda.

  • MOTHER'S DAY JEWELRY PROJECT: 2 years ago a group of philanthropic mothers began an effort at Webb-Wheatley Elementary School in honor of Mother's Day and hard-working students at the school.

  • Donations of gently-worn jewelry were collected from friends around the city so that students could purchase gifts for their mothers with coupons they earned for exemplary behavior and academic performance. Bungalow provided SCOUT bags so that the jewelry was 'wrapped' for the big day.

  • REFUGEES INTERNATIONAL DINNER: Refugees International advocates for lifesaving assistance and protection for displaced people globally and provides solutions to the displacement crisis. At RI's annual dinner at the Italian Embassy, Bungalow provided SCOUT's Capitol Fun bags for the evening's guests.

  • SAKS FASHION SHOW: Get Dressed and SAKS Fifth Avenue collaborated on 3 occasions to create fashion forums for seasonal dressing that benefited Breast Cancer Cares/DC4BC and the Go Bo Fund. Get Dressed is Deb Waterman Johns' styling and wardrobe consulting business.

  • Bungalow provided SCOUT ChocoPink Twist bags and travel accessories for each guest as a thank you for their support.

  • SCOUT developed a Breast Cancer Cares special bag for our inaugural DC4BC party.

  • The party featured fun elements such as a 'very pink' Bra Bar and signature pink cocktails.
